Filament
This is the material which needs to be fed to the printer. It is a simple roll of plastic - we buy it in a medium roll which is about 100 meters long, but there are shorter and longer version on the market. Our printer uses filament of 3mm in diameter, but some other printer uses a thinner filament of 1.75mm.
